Who We Are

What is Parents as Teachers?

Parents as Teachers Affiliate is an evidence based, home visiting program.  Our program will always be a free, voluntary program.  We utilize confirmed research that shows positive impacts and proven outcomes, combined with 30 years of experience.  Our Parent Educators are committed to providing guidance, and information to support your child's development, and YOUR parenting style.  At every visit you will receive information about topics about your child that are important to you, activities that are easily made at home, and a free book for you and your child to enjoy together.  We also believe in the saying "it takes a village to raise a child."  This is why we provide Group Connections throughout the year.  These not only help promote getting out together as a family, but also those connections to parents to help build your village.
