Volunteers are Welcome and Appreciated

Below you will find a list of volunteer opportunities.  We are still considered new, and are trying to integrate more volunteer opportunities as go along.  Please check back with us.

  • Office Assistants

    We are needing some help re-organizing and putting things together.
    Duties could include:
    ~Putting bags together
    ~Labeling Books
    ~Putting Together Packets

  • Interns

    Interns are always welcome! Please contact us and we can work together to figure out what you can do to complete your internship.

  • Special Events Community Outreach

    We and our partnering agencies, always appreciate extra hands during community events. Please let us know if you are interested!

  • Volunteer Guest Speakers

    We are required to complete 12 Group Connections a year. These connections can be a variety of things. Some things we have done in the past are Dental Health, Safety, and Recreation (such as planting flowers).
    Some ideas we have for future Group Connections include life skills such as Budgeting, Sewing, Cooking, and Cleaning. We are always open for suggestions!

  • True Care Women's Resource Center is a nonprofit organization whose advocates and nurses are experts in helping women face unplanned pregnancy. Services include:
    Pregnancy testing, Ultrasound confirmation, Selected STD testing and treatment, Consultation with a nurse, Information on all options, Medical and Community Referrals, Medicaid help, and After abortion care.

  • Women, Infants & Children (WIC) is a special supplemental nutrition program that serves to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants and children up to age 5.

  • Mercer Family Resource Center provides education, counseling, and prevention services that build stronger and healthier youth and families. Some services include: Parenting classes, substance abuse education and early intervention, drug and alcohol education, anger management, and many more!
