What is Parents as Teachers?
Parents as Teachers is an evidence-based, home visiting program and will always be free and voluntary. Our program is based on research that has been proven with over 30 years of experience. Our Parent Support Specialists are committed to providing guidance and information to support your child's development and YOUR parenting style. At every visit you will receive information about topics that are important to you and your child, activities that are easily made at home, and a free book for you and your child to enjoy together. We also believe in the saying "it takes a village to raise a child." This is why we provide Group Connections throughout the year. These not only help promote getting out together as a family, but also building those connections with other parents to help build your village.
